- Nestled at the foot of the volcano amidst beautiful gardens and with scenic views to both of Ometepe's volcanos. Located on the trail to the Maderas volcano, 400 m uphill from the main road in Merida.
- Accommodation
- There is a 2-story house (Casa Verde), consisting of two guest rooms: on the first floor is the Papacito room on the second floor the Mamacita room with view to the volcanoes. A third guest room is in the Cabana Beate, a small private house. All houses are solid built and the guest rooms spotless clean with beautiful furniture and decor. They all have a private bathrooms with hot water, safety box, electric kettle, and fans. In front is a private veranda or balcony with rocking chairs and hammock.
- Services
- The rate includes a generous breakfast with fruits, yogurt, local honey, fresh bread, jam, fresh juice, eggs and coffee. Upon request Italian and vegetarian food can be cooked for dinner. Wifi is available on the whole property and there is a communal area with kitchen for the guests.
- Activities
- The finca is perfectly located for a 8-hours hike to the Maderas volcano. Another recommended tour in Merida is a kayak
tour to the Rio Istian.
With Hari's horses Finca Montaña Sagrada offers the best riding tours on Isla Ometepe. Tours are made to the beach or through the countryside to petroglyphs, or to the waterfall of San Ramon.
